13 luohan qigong

For discussing Chinese Qigong-related practices, such as Yi Jin Ching (Tendon Transforming Exercise), Six Healing Sounds (Liu Zi Jue), Five Animal Frolics (Wu Qin Xi), Eight Piece Brocades (Ba Duan Jin), and more. Here is also the place to discuss Tai Chi used for meditation and healing.

13 luohan qigong

Jesse I am teaching at community college 8 brocades using your dvd as lesson plan. I break it down in one hour sessions once a week for seven weeks. Session 1, I show exercises 1-4 and assign them to practice the exercises during the week until session 2. At 2 session, we review 1-4 and explain/demonstrate exercise 5-8 and assign practice of all 8 until following week. Then at session 3 through 7, we review/practice all 8 pieces.

I also teach taiji ruler which has 7 exercises only one exercise per week and review/add one more each week until at week 7 we will have completed all.

I would like to add to or replace with another qigong set in the future. I have looked at yi jin jing and have been cautioned about possible dangers in this practice without qualified teacher with "hands-on". I am looking now into 13 luohan that you have dvd of. I notice at the end of the "blurb" you "suggest 25 hours" instruction. Would you kindly give me a sample class curriculum to look at? For example, would this require a twelve week session? or could you do 2 per week with in between practice sessions by student until all are accomplished (at least at beginner level) Thanks Vic in Illinois
